MEET LEVI HORTON
This is Levi Horton. He is 11 years old, and he lives in Galax, VA. Levi has been battling a brain tumor since he was 18 months old. He's had 3 surgeries. During the first one, at age 18 months, he suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed entirely on the left side of his body. Thanks to GOD, he regained most of that strength back, with the exception of his left hand. For the next 72 weeks, Levi underwent chemotherapy once a week, which shrunk his tumor to the size of a golfball. The second surgery was very hopeful, and when the doctors came out of surgery, Levi's parents, Cas and Marcia, were told that they were able to get ALL of the tumor! They were 99% sure.
Almost 3 years later, a routine MRI showed that Levi's tumor had come back, and this time with a vengeance. After 6 more months of chemotherapy, the tumor was no smaller this time. The next morning, Levi underwent another surgery that changed his life forever.
The third surgery was not as successful. The doctors couldn't remove all of the tumor because it was in an inoperable place in Levi's brain. Also, this surgery left Levi completely blind.
Levi is a real trooper! He never complains; however, he is very hopeful! Each and every day, Levi expects his healing! That is unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Recently he took his name off the prayer request and put it on the praise report!
We have initiated a list of praying people for Levi. If you would like to be added to that list, PLEASE Click HERE and email us your name and where you are from. We appreciate your support and we can't wait to see what God has in store!!
